Hartung
was
born
on
11
August,
1984
in
Budapest.
He
studied
cinematography
at
the
University
of
Theatre
and
Film
Arts
in
Budapest.
In
2014
he
became
a
member
of
the
Hungarian
Filmacademy
and
the
Hungarian
Society
of
Cinematographers
(HSC)
His
short
films
have
been
selected
to
major
international
film
festivals
such
as
Cannes
and
Berlinale.
His
first
feature
film
'Guerilla'
was
screened
at
the
Göteborg
Film
Festival,
and
nominated
for
the
Ingmar
Bergman
award.
In
2020
he
won
the
da
Vinci
award
(best
feature
cinematography)
in
Milano
for
the
film called Pilate.
